Tolasana A: Lotus Lift
Begins with Lotus Padmasana and is followed by the Turtle Lift.
1. Be seated in Half Lotus (advanced: be seated in the Lotus Pose). Place your hands or your knuckles next to your buttocks and stretch the fingers forward. Inhale and look at your legs.
2. Exhale and lift your buttocks and legs from the floor using the hands. Tighten the shoulders, back, and stomach and lift the knees towards the shoulders. Look in at the body. Try moving the head away from the shoulders. Take four deep breaths and put the emphasis on exhalation. Lower yourself when you exhale for the last time.
